Mapping the Tibetan World
This is a highly comprehensive publication with all the latest information, covering even the remotest areas with helpful costings to facilitate a reasonably accurate budget. There are also over 280 detailed, tried and tested maps, including helpful diagrams of the main towns. The book also contains a glossary of useful Tibetan and Chinese words and a list of place names with their corresponding Chinese charachters.
It is an ideal publication for those new to this part of the world, but also for those who aim to travel across the vast Himalayan area where Tibetan culture still flourishes.
