Singapore Action Group of Elders (SAGE) - a Voluntary Welfare Organisation (VWO) or NGO established in 1977 with a mission to promote the continual growth and development of the elderly through a variety of programmes, services and benefits for our members. It is affiliated to the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) and a member of IFA and HelpAge International. Apart from Counselling Centre which is co-funded by Ministry of Community Development and Sports, and National Council of Social Service, all the other Centres are not funded. Services provided by SAGE to fulfill its mission, it has 5 centres: Recreational and Social Activity Centre (1977) Counselling Centre (1991) Employment Service Centre (1994) Centre for the Study of Ageing (CENSA) (1996) Continuing Education Centre (1996) SAGE will continue to provide quality eldercare services and provide new programmes and training modules in the years ahead.
